Victoria Beckham and the 73 Questions spoof
You could be forgiven for thinking Victoria Beckham doesn't have a sense of humour, especially after watching this toe-curlingly toady and superficial 'interview' with Vogue, in which the delivery of the word 'AIDS' becomes about as important as 'sunglasses':
This led Holly Burn and Amy Dallmeyer (both of ITV2's Bad Bridesmaid, the former one of the bridesmaids and the latter 'behind the camera') to make an exceptionally on-point spoof:
Ho ho ho, aren't celebrities and the fashion industry vapid idiots, we all thought, with total justification. And then, within a day or so, Beckham had the incredible good grace - or astute PR sense - to retweet the spoof to her eight million-odd followers, which gives Burn and Dallmeyer's work an immediate audience far greater (if less lucrative) than it would have on the likes of ITV2, E4 or BBC3. And the beauty of this situation is that everyone wins.
